Christmas 2020 Update
It is only September 2020, yet Moms and Dads across our city are already calling into the Christmas Bureau to ensure we will be operational this year. These parents are desperate to give their children a Merry Christmas, to provide a normal happy occasion in the midst of the uncertainty of the times.
We will indeed be open. The Surrey Christmas Bureau is committed to ensuring that parents will be able to fill stockings and put lovingly wrapped gifts under their Christmas tree; that families will be able to enjoy the all-important delicious Christmas dinner with their loved ones, safe in their bubble, together. The comfort of these simple traditions has never been more important. We will need all the support we can get as we do anticipate the need to be greater than ever.
We are working hard on our COVID19 safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of our volunteers, staff , clients and community partners. One major change is that registration will be done online this year. Stay tuned for details. Full step by step instructions and a link to the registration application will be uploaded to our Registration page soon.
PLEASE NOTE: Drop offs to Surrey fire halls are not active until November 2020.
We will be holding a virtual Annual General Meeting on Thursday, October 29 at 6:30pm via ZOOM videoconferencing. Please RSVP by October 15, 2020 to firstname.lastname@example.org. The conference log in details and telephone dial in information will be sent to you after the RSVP period closes. We are looking forward to sharing all of the plans we have made for the upcoming season with you!

Christmas only come only once a year, but fundraising to make Christmas magic happen takes place all year round. Spring and summer are great seasons for outdoor FUNdraising events such as community BBQ’s, golf tournaments and neighbourhood yard sales. Why not combine a neighbourhood yard sale with a BBQ – clean out that garage, have fun with your friends and neighbours and raise funds for the Christmas Bureau all at the same time!
To give is to gain.
Our community certainly gains a lot every Christmas, thanks to you!
