2022 Annual General Meeting
The 2022 Surrey Christmas Bureau Annual General Meeting will be held Tuesday, October 25 at 6:30pm via Zoom Videoconferencing. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to email@example.com before October 15, 2022. A link to the video conference will be emailed to you after October 15. Thank you!
2022 Client Registration Update:
Applications for assistance for the 2022 Christmas season will be available starting in October. Check back for the link to the online registration system. We are hopeful that we will be able to return to parent shopping in the Toy Depot in 2022, however please ensure you do complete the wish list section of the application form just in case the ongoing COVID19 pandemic requires us to pre-pack toy hampers again this year. Be as specific as possible with your child’s wish list and we will do our very best to make their Christmas dreams come true. Thank you!
Adopt a Family sponsor applications now open for 2022:
Our Adopt a Family Sponsor Application is now live! Click here to complete your application to sponsor a family in 2022. Thank you for your support!
Sponsors, please do not forget to fill out your Gift in Kind tax receipt form and mail it in, (the request form can be found here) along with your receipts, to us at PO Box 547, 10688 King George Blvd., Surrey BC V3T 5W7. We must have all forms and receipts in before the end of February 2023 in order to issue your 2022 tax receipt.
Volunteer in 2022!
We are accepting new volunteer applications for the Christmas 2022 season. Please click here to view the guidelines and complete an application form.
Financial donations are needed year round to support our Hamper program. In 2021, our Hamper Program provided almost $190,000 in grocery vouchers to families in need. This translates to 21,102 meals for 7,034 family members! Please consider supporing this essential program with a one time gift or make a monthly donation via the Donate Now link below. Thank you so much!
Please note we do not have a physical facility open year round to accept toy donations. Drop offs to Surrey Fire Halls are also closed for the season. If you do have surplus toys you would like to donate, consider reaching out to your local elementary school Strong Start program, the Surrey Women’s Centre or the Maxxine Wright Second Stage Program. We look forward to seeing you again with your toy donations in November 2022!
If a financial donation is not possible at this time, please keep in mind that from time to time we also need help in practical matters such as trucking, the loan of equipment, web site development etc. If you or your company has resources that you think could be helpful to our work, please get in touch!
To give is to gain.
Our community certainly gains a lot every Christmas, thanks to you!
