THE Surrey Christmas Bureau is dedicated to bringing joy and support to low-income families during the holidays BY PROVIDING NEW toys, BOOKS, WARM winter clothing, and grocery cards FOR THOSE SPECIAL HOLIDAY MEALS WHERE MEMORIES ARE MADE.

How to Apply
1. Click the “Donor Application” button on our website to access the application form.
2. Once the Google Form opens, read the information and instructions carefully before beginning your application
3. Fill out your contact information, including your name, email, phone number, and address.
4. Indicate whether you have sponsored a family before.
5. Enter the number of families you would like to sponsor.
6. Select the family size you would like to sponsor:

- Small: 2–3 people
- Medium: 4–6 people
- Large: 7+ people
7. Sponsoring more than one family? Be sure to indicate the size of each family you would like to sponsor.
For example: If you are sponsoring 3 families, list the size for all 3 families: Small, Medium, Large.
8. Add any special requests or preferences you may have for your family match.
9. Review your application to make sure all of your information is correct, then click Submit.
10. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation, and a member of the Surrey Christmas Bureau team will contact you regarding your family match.

September 2025: Thank you for your interest in becoming an Adopt-a-Family sponsor.
The application form is now live.
Families in need will begin registering in mid-October. We’ll match sponsors and families in the order applications are received, and based on the family size you choose. Each year, about 600 families are matched through this program—we couldn’t do it without your generosity!
Once matched, our Adopt-a-Family team will contact you by phone and email. You’ll receive details about your family, including:

Children’s names and ages

Parent/guardian’s contact info

Address for delivery
Please connect with your family as soon as possible to ask about the children’s wish lists and any food sensitivities before preparing your hamper.

Tax Receipt Information
If you would like a tax receipt for your Adopt-a-Family donation, please:

Keep all original receipts for your purchases.

Submit them with our Gift In Kind Tax Receipt Request Form (Click HERE) by mail to our office.
